We are looking for experienced HGV Technicians and Municipal Waste Vehicle Technicians to join our client based in the Heathrow & Bristol areas, Our client is a well known established Contract Hire Vehicle business and has a number of locations within the South West.

You Must have
A recognised Heavy Goods qualification City & Guilds or NVQ L2 or 3, IRTEC License or equivalent
Preferably worked for a main dealer, franchise, fleet, transportation/haulage, or within a busy garage environment
Driving license
HGV License (Class 1 or 2) desirable
Worked in a busy workshop environment to strict deadlines
Work to high standards on HGV’s and Municipal Waste Vehicles
Practise good health and safety at work

The Hours

Heathrow; Early 6am-2.30pm lates 1.30-10pm flexible to work some Sat’s if required

Bristol; Week 1 6-2pm Week 2 2-10pm Fri 12-8pm with Saturday morning’s as overtime

The Salary
HGV Technician £28,500 basic – £35,000/£40,000 pa
Municipal Technician £30,500 basic – £35,000/£40,000 pa
Plus 25 days holidays & bank holidays

MOT’s and vehicle preparation
Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding using diagnostic software equipment
Planned maintenance schedules
Working on all types of Municipal Waste Vehicles
