We are urgently looking for experienced HGV Technicians Early, Late and Night Shift required to join our clients North West dealerships. Our client is a well known established Commercial Vehicle business and has a number of locations within the North and North Western Regions.

You Must have
A recognised Heavy Goods qualification City & Guilds or NVQ L2 or 3, IRTEC License or equivalent
Preferably worked for a main dealer, franchise, fleet, transportation/haulage, or within a busy garage environment
Driving license
HGV License (Class 1 or 2) desirable advantageous
Worked in a busy workshop environment to strict deadlines
Work to high standards on HGV’s or Municipal Waste Vehicles or similar
Practise good health and safety at work

The Hours
Week 1
Mon 7.30am-4pm & Tue-Fri 6.30-3pm
Week2
Mon-Thu 1.30pm-10pm & Fri 11.30pm-8pm Sat am 6.30-1pm as overtime

The Salary
HGV Technician £28-£30,000 basic plus unlimited overtime, ote £40,000 pa

Repairs and general maintenance on a wide range of vehicles from light to heavy commercial vehicles (HGV)
MOT’s and vehicle preparation
Vehicle diagnostics and fault finding using diagnostic software equipment
Planned maintenance schedules
Working on all types of Municipal Waste Vehicles
